Community Wildfire Leadership Experience
Peer Support with Group Coaching
This is a 7-week online program, meeting weekly, convening community leaders from across the U.S. to share their successes and struggles in preparing their communities for wildfire. This program is designed to build relationships and encourage sharing while helping leaders address challenges such as the following:
Driving change and acting as an intrapreneur in a complex community setting
Objectively assessing risks, opportunities and progress
Engaging community stakeholders (fire officials, city leaders, homeowner associations, vendors, insurance companies, etc.)
Motivating a spectrum of property owners
Exploring scalable commercial solutions
Accessing funding for large-scale preparation
Setting program goals and measuring success
Sustaining their community efforts; financial and personal resilience
